FCCL Shifts To JazzCash Salary Wallets With Insurance For Workforce

In an effort to improve financial access for industrial and field workers who often operate without formal insurance, consistent banking access, or secure channels for managing earnings, JazzCash and Fauji Cement Company Limited FCCL have formalized a partnership that will introduce digital salary disbursements for employees. Under this new arrangement, FCCL workers will receive their salaries directly into JazzCash mobile wallets, creating a secure and traceable channel for income management. The initiative embeds insurance coverage with the salary wallet, offering thousands of employees added financial protection that has historically remained beyond reach for many labor groups across the country.

Senior leadership from both organizations endorsed the agreement during a joint signing. FCCL was represented by Haris Manzoor, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, along with Syed Kamran Hassan, Director Supply Chain. JazzCash was represented by its CEO, Murtaza Ali, supported by Arif M Chaudhary, Head of Public Sector Partnerships, and Sarmad Malik, Stream Head Strategic Partnerships. Leaders from both sides emphasized the value of creating safe, consistent, and digitally enabled financial pathways for a workforce that plays a critical role in Pakistan’s industrial operations.

The shift to mobile wallet based payroll is expected to address several longstanding challenges faced by workers who previously relied on cash based salary distribution. With direct deposits into a wallet, employees will have access to essential financial tools that include secure withdrawal options, digital payments, savings features, and insured protection. The partnership also helps reduce risks associated with cash handling, enhances transparency for employers, and creates reliable financial histories for workers who may seek access to additional services in the future.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to employee welfare and represents an important step in expanding digital financial inclusion within formal and semi formal industrial environments. JazzCash continues to support corporate and public sector organizations seeking to digitize internal financial processes, while FCCL positions itself as an employer that prioritizes worker security and well being through modern payroll systems. Both teams reiterated that the initiative is designed to uplift workers by providing a dependable and secure mechanism through which they can manage their income and access protection benefits that strengthen overall financial resilience.
