Zarea Limited has announced its consolidated financial results for the year ended June 30, 2026, reporting substantial year-on-year increases in revenue and net profit. According to the company’s FY2026 results, revenue reached PKR 2.775 billion, representing a 106.6% increase compared with the previous year, while net profit rose 107.8% to PKR 1.394 billion. The company also reported earnings per share of Rs5.31, up 74.7% year-on-year, while total assets reached PKR 4.792 billion. Zarea said the results reflect continued growth in its business and commodity ecosystem, with the company operating a technology-based B2B marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of commodities. Its business model includes platform usage fees generated from transactions on its e-commerce platform as well as the purchase and sale of agricultural commodities.
The company’s financial performance follows strong growth recorded during the first nine months of FY2026. Zarea’s third-quarter report showed consolidated revenue of PKR 2.108 billion for the nine-month period ended March 31, 2026, compared with PKR 805.42 million in the corresponding period of the previous year, representing growth of 161.7%. During the same period, gross profit increased to PKR 585.39 million from PKR 369.31 million. The company attributed the increase in revenue during the nine-month period primarily to higher trading volumes, expansion into new commodity categories and growth in its active customer base. Its half-year report had similarly recorded consolidated revenue of PKR 1.267 billion for the six months ended December 31, 2025, compared with PKR 366.77 million a year earlier.
Zarea’s operations extend beyond the digital marketplace itself, with the company providing services covering logistics, business credit, import and export support and data analytics. Its platform currently lists commodity categories including agriculture and biomass, cement, chemicals, coal, cotton and yarn, energy and petroleum, fertilizer, grains and pulses, solar and steel. The company says its platform is designed to simplify procurement for businesses by connecting them with suppliers and supporting transactions from sourcing through delivery. Zarea also offers credit solutions for eligible business customers, with its credit service focused on working-capital requirements within the commodity supply chain. These services form part of the company’s broader digital commerce model and its efforts to connect different stages of business procurement through a single platform.
Alongside its financial results, Zarea announced a final cash dividend of Rs1 per share, marking the second consecutive year in which the company has declared a dividend. The company expressed appreciation to its shareholders, customers, partners, employees and other stakeholders for their continued confidence and support. Zarea was converted into a public limited company in April 2024 and subsequently listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange in February 2025 through an initial public offering. Its business structure includes Zarea Agri-Tech and Zarea Commerce FZCO, with activities spanning agricultural commodities, e-commerce, information technology services and related operations. The FY2026 results provide a full-year view of the growth reported across the company’s quarterly financial updates as Zarea continues operating its digital marketplace and related services for businesses involved in commodity procurement and trade.
