Chase Securities Pakistan (Private) Limited has been recognised among the Top 10 participating stock brokers at the Asaan Grand Rewards Ceremony jointly organised by the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC). The recognition was presented as part of a six-month campaign conducted under the Asaan Connect framework, which focuses on facilitating digital investor onboarding and expanding participation in Pakistan’s capital market. Chase Securities received a commemorative shield in recognition of its participation and contribution to the initiative. The award was presented to Ali Nawaz, Chief Executive of Chase Securities, during the ceremony. CDC Pakistan confirmed that commemorative shields were presented to all Top 10 brokers participating in the campaign, while the top three performers received additional grand prizes.
The Asaan Connect initiative is designed to simplify the process through which individuals can open investment accounts with participating brokers and other capital-market entities. The platform provides a centralized digital onboarding mechanism, allowing investors to submit their information and complete relevant account-opening requirements through a digital process. Under the Asaan Reward Program, participating brokers were encouraged to onboard new investors through the platform, with the campaign recognising brokers based on their performance during the specified period. CDC had previously outlined a monthly reward mechanism under which brokers opening at least 25 accounts through Asaan Connect could qualify, with the Top 10 brokers recognised based on the number of accounts opened.
Chase Securities said the recognition reflects its contribution to the Asaan Connect initiative and its efforts to make digital onboarding easier for new investors. The company also acknowledged its clients and team following the recognition, highlighting the role of digital onboarding in bringing more individuals into the formal capital-market system. The ceremony brought together PSX, CDC and participating brokerage firms, with the organisers also recognising other institutions involved in supporting the initiative. CDC said special mementos were presented to PSX, the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL), E-Clear Services Limited and Microlinks (Private) Limited for their collaboration and support. The participating brokers recognised during the event included Chase Securities alongside several other brokerage houses.
Digital onboarding has become an increasingly important part of efforts to make access to Pakistan’s capital markets more convenient for retail investors. Through platforms such as Asaan Connect, investors can initiate account-opening processes digitally rather than relying entirely on conventional branch-based procedures. The initiative also provides brokerage firms with a structured channel to reach prospective investors and facilitate their entry into the market. Chase Securities’ recognition places the company among the brokers acknowledged for their contribution during the six-month Asaan Connect campaign. The development comes as PSX and CDC continue initiatives aimed at increasing investor outreach and simplifying access to capital-market services through digital channels.
