Swich has highlighted its role in supporting Ticket Wala’s digital payment operations, with Ticket Wala CEO Zayaan Bawany discussing how digital payments have contributed to the ticketing platform’s transition toward a more technology-driven customer experience. In a recent video shared by Swich, Bawany described the journey of digitizing ticketing in Pakistan and discussed the importance of convenient online payment options for customers purchasing event tickets. Swich said its payment platform has helped Ticket Wala simplify online payments while also making payment management easier for the business through a unified dashboard. The development reflects the increasing use of digital payment infrastructure by online businesses and service platforms that need to provide customers with multiple ways to complete transactions.
Swich provides payment infrastructure for businesses through its payment gateway, which supports several payment channels through a single integration. According to the company, merchants can accept payments through debit and credit cards, mobile wallets including JazzCash and Easypaisa, direct bank transfers and Raast QR payments. The platform also provides payment links and digital invoicing options, allowing businesses to collect payments through different customer touchpoints. Swich’s merchant dashboard provides transaction visibility and supports functions including payment tracking, settlement information and reporting. For businesses such as online ticketing platforms, these tools can bring customer payment collection and transaction monitoring into a single digital environment.
Ticket Wala has been using digital payment infrastructure for several years as part of its online ticketing operations. Earlier partnerships with payment providers enabled the platform to accept payments through cards, bank accounts and mobile wallets, giving customers different options when purchasing tickets online. PayFast announced a partnership with Ticket Wala in 2022, allowing the ticketing platform to accept Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay and PayPak cards alongside bank accounts and mobile wallets. Ticket Wala had also previously worked with PayPro and NIFT e-Pay to provide customers with digital payment options. These earlier arrangements demonstrate the importance of payment gateways and multiple payment channels to the platform’s online ticketing model.
Swich’s latest feature on Ticket Wala focuses on how payment technology can support both sides of an online transaction. For customers, integrated digital payment options can provide a direct route to completing ticket purchases, while businesses can use a central dashboard to monitor transactions and manage payment-related activity. Swich currently positions its platform as an embedded financial infrastructure service for merchants, covering payment acceptance, payouts and other business payment flows. Its payment gateway is designed to connect merchants with multiple payment methods through a single integration, while its dashboard provides tools for transaction management and reconciliation. The Ticket Wala example therefore highlights the role of payment infrastructure in supporting Pakistan’s expanding digital commerce and online ticketing ecosystem.
