Sunrate Launches Pakistan Operations To Support Growing Digital Export Economy With Cross-Border Payments

Sunrate, a global payment and treasury management platform, has officially launched its operations in Pakistan to support the country’s growing digital export economy. The company announced its formal market entry at a launch event in Lahore attended by banking leaders, technology founders, e-commerce operators and digital business owners.

The company has already been supporting businesses in Pakistan that operate across international markets, and the local launch marks the next stage of its presence in the country. Sunrate is establishing a local team and on-ground support structure to bring its global payments and treasury infrastructure closer to Pakistani businesses earning revenue from overseas markets.

Sunrate is targeting a broad range of digital exporters, including IT and software companies, freelancers, e-commerce sellers, digital agencies and other businesses serving international clients. Its platform enables businesses to receive international payments, manage foreign exchange and operate across multiple currencies, addressing some of the financial infrastructure requirements that arise when companies expand their operations globally.

The launch comes as Pakistan’s digital economy becomes increasingly connected to international markets. Technology companies, freelancers, software businesses, e-commerce operators and digital agencies are generating more revenue from customers outside Pakistan, increasing demand for reliable cross-border payment infrastructure that can support international transactions and business expansion.

Sunrate’s Pakistan launch therefore adds another international payments provider to the country’s evolving digital financial ecosystem. By combining global payment infrastructure with local support, the company aims to help Pakistani digital businesses manage international payments and foreign exchange more efficiently as they participate in the global digital economy.
