Faysal Bank Consumer Finance has reached PKR 100 billion in ENR, marking a significant milestone for the bank’s consumer financing business. The bank announced the development through its official LinkedIn page, thanking customers for their trust and acknowledging their role in the growth of its consumer finance portfolio. The milestone reflects the scale of financing that Faysal Bank has built across its consumer-focused products as the bank continues to serve customers through a range of secured and unsecured financing solutions. Faysal Bank’s current consumer finance portfolio includes products such as personal finance, home finance, auto finance and financing for consumer durable goods. The bank’s consumer finance operations are supported by dedicated customer acquisition and portfolio management functions, covering both existing customers and new borrowers.
Faysal Bank has continued to expand its Islamic consumer financing offerings alongside its broader banking services. Its Faysal Islami Personal Finance product provides Shariah-compliant financing based on Tawarruq, with financing available for purposes including education, weddings and medical needs. The bank also offers Faysal Takmeel, a Shariah-compliant consumer durable financing facility that can be used for products including home appliances, televisions, laptops, motorcycles and other goods. According to the bank, Takmeel facilities range from PKR 25,000 to amounts of up to PKR 2 million, subject to applicable eligibility and income criteria. These products form part of the wider consumer finance segment through which Faysal Bank provides financing options to individuals for personal and household requirements.
The bank also maintains financing products for larger household and asset-related requirements. Faysal Islami Home Finance is structured around Diminishing Musharakah, allowing customers to gradually purchase the bank’s ownership share in a property until they become the sole owner. Its home finance offering covers property purchase, construction, renovation and refinancing, subject to the bank’s eligibility requirements. Faysal Bank has also continued to recruit for its consumer finance operations, with recent positions focused on customer acquisition and the management of secured and unsecured products including credit cards, auto finance, home finance and Islamic personal finance. The bank’s current consumer finance recruitment material describes portfolio growth, customer retention and new customer acquisition as key areas of responsibility.
The PKR 100 billion ENR milestone comes as Faysal Bank continues developing its consumer banking business within Pakistan’s broader financial services sector. ENR, or earning net receivables, is commonly used in banking to represent the outstanding financing or receivables contributing to a financing portfolio. Faysal Bank’s announcement did not provide a product-by-product breakdown of the PKR 100 billion figure or disclose the growth rate behind the milestone, so the amount should be viewed as the overall figure cited by the bank rather than attributed to a particular financing product. The achievement nevertheless highlights the size of Faysal Bank’s consumer finance operations and the continued demand for consumer financing products in Pakistan. The bank’s latest financial information is also available through its official financial reporting channels, including its June 2026 half-year financial statements.
