Bank Alfalah has inaugurated Pakistan’s first Digital Islamic Consumer Finance Centre (ICFC) at Naya Nazimabad in Karachi, introducing a one-stop model that brings digital consumer financing, Islamic banking and self-service digital banking together at a single location. The centre is designed to simplify access to Shariah-compliant financial services while providing customers with a more integrated and technology-driven banking experience.
The new centre allows customers to explore available products, receive guidance from qualified specialists and apply for financing digitally without relying on lengthy paperwork. Customers can access financing options related to homes, vehicles and other consumer needs, while partnerships with property developers, automotive companies, solar providers and consumer brands allow them to compare products and receive expert advice at the same location.
The centre combines a dedicated Islamic banking branch with a self-service digital lobby, creating a hybrid banking model that brings physical advisory services and digital processing together. Customers can complete their banking requirements through digital channels while also receiving specialist support when evaluating Shariah-compliant financing options. The model is intended to reduce the need for customers to visit multiple locations or complete lengthy manual processes.
The launch also marks another milestone in Bank Alfalah’s Islamic banking expansion. With the opening of the centre, the bank has crossed 451 Islamic banking branches nationwide, while its overall branch network has surpassed 1,200 locations. The development highlights the growing integration of digital technology into Islamic banking as financial institutions seek to make Shariah-compliant products more accessible to customers.
Bank Alfalah’s new centre represents a shift toward a more integrated consumer finance experience, combining product discovery, financial advisory, digital applications and Islamic banking services under one roof. The initiative could further support the adoption of digital Islamic finance by giving customers a single point of access for exploring and applying for Shariah-compliant consumer financing.
