Zindigi And Mercantile Bring iPhone 18 Pro Purchases To App

Zindigi, the digital banking platform powered by JS Bank, has partnered with Mercantile, Apple’s authorized distributor in Pakistan, to let customers purchase the newly launched iPhone 18 Pro series directly through the Zindigi App. The collaboration brings together a digital banking platform and a premium electronics distributor within a single app experience, allowing customers to move from browsing to purchase without leaving the banking app itself.

Through the partnership, Zindigi users will be able to explore the iPhone 18 Pro series, place their orders, and have the device delivered straight to their doorstep, creating an in-app purchase journey that spans discovery through to fulfillment. Bringing a high-value electronics purchase into a banking app reflects a broader shift among digital banks toward layering lifestyle and retail features on top of core financial services, giving customers a reason to open the app for purposes beyond transfers, bill payments, or balance checks.

For Mercantile, the partnership extends its distribution reach into Zindigi’s existing customer base, giving the company an additional digital storefront for Apple products alongside its established retail and online channels. For Zindigi, the collaboration builds on a pattern of adding lifestyle-oriented features to its platform, positioning the app less as a standalone banking tool and more as a broader digital ecosystem where customers can access financial services alongside relevant consumer purchases. Embedding a premium device purchase flow directly into a banking app also gives Zindigi visibility into a segment of digitally active, higher-spending customers who are likely to already use the app regularly for other services.

No specific pricing, delivery timelines, or details on payment options such as installment plans were shared for the iPhone 18 Pro purchases made through the app, and neither company disclosed expected order volumes for the initial rollout. Both Zindigi and Mercantile described the tie-up as part of their shared effort to make access to the latest technology more convenient for digitally active consumers in Pakistan, with the in-app purchase flow positioned as a small but visible step in Zindigi’s broader move from banking app to lifestyle platform.
