TouchPoint has enabled Pakistan’s first Diebold Nixdorf DN Series 300 ATM at Meezan Bank, introducing a new generation of self-service banking technology to the country’s financial sector. According to Fintech News Pakistan, the ATM is also the first Windows 11-powered ATM in Pakistan, marking a technology upgrade for the country’s automated banking infrastructure. The deployment is aimed at supporting high-volume cash access while providing banks with a compact ATM solution designed around availability, operational efficiency and evolving branch requirements. The development comes as financial institutions continue to expand self-service channels to provide customers with greater access to banking services beyond conventional branch counters.
The DN Series 300 is designed for environments where banks require high-volume cash handling within a relatively compact footprint. TouchPoint said the solution combines space-efficient hardware with enhanced cash-handling capabilities, allowing financial institutions to make more effective use of available branch and self-service areas. The Windows 11-powered platform also places the ATM within a modern computing environment, while Diebold Nixdorf describes its DN Series ATMs as solutions that bring together physical and digital banking channels. For banks, such infrastructure can support the continued shift toward automated transactions while maintaining access to cash and other routine services through self-service channels.
The installation at Meezan Bank also highlights the role of local technology providers in the modernization of Pakistan’s banking infrastructure. TouchPoint has been providing self-service banking solutions in Pakistan and works with a number of financial institutions across the country. Its portfolio includes ATM and cash and cheque deposit solutions, as well as software platforms designed for terminal management, transaction processing and reporting. The company states that its services are intended to support branch transformation and provide banks with scalable self-service capabilities across different locations.
The introduction of the DN Series 300 at Meezan Bank is expected to contribute to the ongoing development of Pakistan’s self-service banking ecosystem by combining updated ATM hardware with a Windows 11 operating environment. The deployment provides a platform focused on cash availability, operational performance and customer access, while its compact design can support banks looking to optimize physical space. TouchPoint identified the enablement as Pakistan’s first DN Series 300 deployment and the country’s first Windows 11-powered ATM, positioning the installation as part of the broader transition toward more technology-driven and digitally connected banking infrastructure.
