SadaPay Partners With Mastercard for Messi Campaign Offering Signed Jerseys and Exclusive Rewards

SadaPay has launched a promotional campaign in partnership with Mastercard featuring Argentine footballer Lionel Messi, offering customers opportunities to receive exclusive rewards through international card transactions. The campaign was announced by SadaPay CEO and COO Omer Salimullah, who described Messi as a player who changes the game and dedicated the initiative to fans who have followed his football career. The promotional material identifies Messi as an official Mastercard ambassador and presents the campaign as a way to connect international payments with football-related rewards. Customers using their SadaPay cards for eligible international transactions can qualify for prizes including signed Messi jerseys, exclusive fan boxes and a Messi Virtual Mastercard. The initiative combines SadaPay’s international payment services with Mastercard’s association with the football star, giving customers an additional incentive to use their cards for overseas purchases and digital subscriptions.

According to the campaign details, the rewards include 12 signed Messi jerseys, with two winners selected every week, as well as two Messi Fan Boxes. Each Fan Box includes a signed Messi jersey and collector’s items. Customers can also receive a Messi Virtual Mastercard after making their next qualifying international payment. The campaign defines an eligible transaction as an international payment of at least Rs500 made through a physical merchant or digital platform. Examples shown in the promotional material include subscriptions to services such as Netflix and Spotify, as well as bookings for flights, hotels and other travel-related expenses. This means the campaign covers different types of international spending rather than limiting participation to purchases made through a particular category of merchant. Customers will need to ensure that their transactions meet the campaign’s stated minimum amount and international payment requirements to qualify for the rewards.

The campaign uses a transaction-based entry system to determine eligibility for its prizes. One qualifying international payment unlocks the Messi Virtual Mastercard, according to the promotional material. Customers making three international transactions within a week, running from Monday to Sunday, become eligible for the signed Argentina jersey draw. Each additional qualifying international transaction after the first three provides another entry into the draw. A higher transaction threshold applies to the Messi Fan Box reward, with customers required to complete 20 international transactions by December 20 to enter the relevant draw. The structure is designed to encourage repeated international card usage during the promotional period, while giving customers different reward opportunities based on their transaction activity. The campaign therefore links everyday international spending, including digital subscriptions and travel bookings, with participation in prize draws featuring Messi-related merchandise.

The SadaPay and Mastercard campaign highlights how financial service providers are using brand partnerships and customer rewards to encourage digital payment adoption. International card transactions have become relevant to a range of consumer activities, from accessing subscription platforms to paying for travel and shopping from overseas merchants. By attaching football-themed incentives to these payments, SadaPay is seeking to make international card usage more engaging for its customers. The involvement of Messi, whose global following extends beyond football audiences, gives the campaign a recognisable identity while Mastercard provides the payment network partnership. Customers interested in participating should review the official campaign terms and conditions for details about qualifying transactions, reward selection, eligibility and any applicable limitations. The promotional material shared by SadaPay outlines the transaction thresholds and reward structure, while further terms may clarify the operational details of the campaign.
