UBL Announces 50 Percent Cozmetica Discount For PayPak Debit Cardholders Through PayFast Online Checkout This October

United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced a limited-time shopping discount for customers using its PayPak debit cards, offering 50% off purchases at online beauty retailer Cozmetica. The promotion will remain available on October 30 and 31, 2026, and applies to online payments made through PayFast using an eligible UBL PayPak debit card. Shared through the bank’s LinkedIn page, the offer is part of the PayPak “Faiday Pe Faida” campaign, which features promotional discounts for participating cardholders at selected merchants. The bank has set a maximum discount of PKR 1,500 per transaction and stated that the promotion is available for a limited number of orders. The two-day campaign gives UBL customers an opportunity to purchase beauty and personal-care products at a reduced price while using a domestic debit card payment option. Customers will need to complete their transactions within the specified promotional period and follow the designated online checkout process to qualify.

The advertised 50% discount is subject to the PKR 1,500 cap, which limits the maximum amount customers can save on an individual transaction. For example, a purchase worth PKR 2,000 would qualify for a theoretical discount of PKR 1,000 at the advertised rate, while a purchase worth PKR 4,000 would reach the maximum saving of PKR 1,500 rather than receive a full 50% reduction. The bank has also highlighted that the offer is subject to terms and conditions and is restricted to a limited number of orders. This means that the promotion may no longer be available once the allocated orders have been exhausted, even if the advertised dates have not ended. UBL has not provided further details in its social media announcement about a minimum transaction amount, eligible product exclusions or the number of orders covered by the campaign. Customers should therefore review the applicable terms and confirm the discount at checkout before completing their purchases.

To avail the promotion, customers can visit Cozmetica’s website, select their preferred products and proceed to the online payment page. They must use an eligible UBL PayPak debit card and select the PayFast payment route to make the transaction. The offer is specifically advertised for online purchases, so customers should not assume that it applies to in-store payments or transactions made through other payment methods. Before confirming an order, cardholders should check whether the discount has been reflected in the payable amount and ensure that the payment is processed successfully. Customers can access the retailer through Cozmetica.pk. Questions about product availability, delivery and returns can be directed to the retailer, while customers requiring assistance with their cards or banking services can contact UBL through its official support channels.

The campaign highlights the role of card-based promotions in encouraging consumers to use digital payment channels for online shopping. By combining a bank-issued PayPak debit card with a merchant website and payment gateway, the offer connects customers with a discounted purchase opportunity while supporting electronic transaction activity. Such campaigns can also provide participating retailers with an incentive to attract customers during short promotional windows. For UBL, the promotion adds to its cardholder engagement initiatives by offering a benefit tied to its PayPak debit card rather than requiring customers to use cash or an alternative payment method. However, the practical value of the discount depends on the transaction amount, the maximum saving allowed and the availability of the limited order allocation. The offer is scheduled for October 30–31, 2026, and eligible customers should complete their purchases through PayFast using their UBL PayPak debit cards within this period. They should also review the applicable terms and conditions before relying on the advertised discount.
