Cashyn by QSPL has received the Merit Award in the Inclusion and Community Services category at the P@SHA ICT Awards 2026, one of Pakistan’s established technology recognition platforms. QSPL described the award as a significant milestone for the company, coming after several years of building out Cashyn’s merchant network across the country.
According to QSPL, Cashyn was built with the specific purpose of bringing financial services closer to people, helping merchants adopt digital tools, and bridging the divide between cash-based and digital transactions, with a particular focus on making financial inclusion accessible at the community level. The company said this vision is playing out through its expanding nationwide merchant network, describing the growth as happening one merchant, one transaction, and one community at a time.
QSPL framed the Merit Award as recognition not just of the Cashyn product itself, but of the broader execution and groundwork involved in building financial access in areas where traditional banking and financial channels remain limited. The company pointed to its work building infrastructure directly on the ground as evidence that financial inclusion can be achieved at scale through a merchant-centered distribution model, rather than relying solely on traditional bank branches or purely app-based digital banking approaches.
QSPL credited the recognition to its wider team, partners, and merchant network, calling it a shared milestone rather than one attributable to a single department or product feature. No specific figures were shared on the current size of Cashyn’s merchant network, transaction volumes, or the criteria used by P@SHA judges to select winners in the Inclusion and Community Services category, though the award adds to a growing list of recognitions for fintech-driven financial inclusion initiatives in Pakistan.
