Jubilee General Insurance has introduced the Resilience Reward, a new recognition platform aimed at highlighting organizations that go beyond simply responding to risk and instead actively prepare, adapt, and grow their business resilience over time. The company described the initiative as a pioneering approach in Pakistan, adding a new dimension to how the insurance industry engages with clients by recognizing sustained commitment to risk management, safety, and loss prevention rather than focusing solely on claims and coverage.
According to Jubilee General Insurance, its role with client organizations extends beyond providing standard insurance coverage, involving proactive risk management, engineering expertise, and longer-term partnerships intended to help businesses become safer and better prepared for disruption. The Resilience Reward is framed as a way of formalizing recognition for companies that have built the internal capabilities to navigate and continue growing through periods of disruption, rather than simply reacting once an incident occurs.
The launch event recognized a wide range of Jubilee General Insurance’s corporate clients across different sectors, including the Aga Khan University Hospital, International Steels Limited, International Industries Limited, Shan Foods, Getz Pharma, HBL, Pakistan Cables, Exide Pakistan, Aisha Steel Mills, Martin Dow, Mövenpick Hotel Karachi, and several other manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods companies. The breadth of industries represented, spanning healthcare, steel, textiles, food, pharmaceuticals, banking, and hospitality, points to the Resilience Reward being positioned as a cross-sector recognition platform rather than one tied to a specific type of business or risk profile.
Jubilee General Insurance thanked participants for joining the launch of what it called a first-of-its-kind platform in the local insurance market, though no details were shared on the specific criteria used to select honorees, how frequently the recognition will be awarded going forward, or whether additional companies will be added to future editions of the programme. The initiative adds to a broader trend among insurers globally of using client recognition and risk-partnership programmes as a way to differentiate themselves beyond standard policy offerings.
