Bank AL Habib Launches Rebuilt Digital Banking App With Smarter Features and Personalized Customer Experience

Bank AL Habib has launched AL Habib Digital, a newly rebuilt mobile banking application designed to provide customers with a more streamlined and personalized digital banking experience. The new application represents a ground-up redevelopment of the bank’s mobile banking platform, with a focus on simpler navigation, faster access to services and greater customer control. The updated platform brings everyday banking activities, payments and account management into a redesigned interface, while also introducing features aimed at making the application more adaptable to different customer preferences. The launch comes as banks across Pakistan continue to expand their digital channels and shift more financial services toward mobile platforms.

The new AL Habib Digital app introduces a customizable dashboard that allows users to choose between Basic and Advanced views depending on how much information and functionality they want to access from the home screen. Interactive widgets provide quick access to frequently used services, real-time updates and personalized insights. Customers can also choose between light and dark modes, while the application offers bilingual support in English and Urdu. The bank has also focused on simplifying the onboarding process, allowing new users to register using their identification number and registered mobile number, followed by in-app biometric verification. Customers can then select fingerprint, Face ID or username and password as their preferred login method.

AL Habib Digital also brings together a broad range of payment and financial services within the application. Customers can transfer funds to AL Habib accounts, other banks and mobile wallets, as well as make payments through Raast using an account number, mobile number or Raast ID. The application supports both static and dynamic QR payments, while users can also pay utility bills, government fees and education-related payments. Mobile top-ups and bundle purchases are available through the platform, and digital receipts can be downloaded, saved or shared after transactions. These features are complemented by account statements, balance inquiries, transaction histories, service requests and card management tools, reducing the need for customers to visit branches for routine banking requirements.

Security and device management have also been incorporated into the redesigned application. Users can view and manage devices logged into their accounts and remove access when required. Transactions are protected through FPIN, while real-time notifications provide alerts for logins, payments and other account activity. The application is designed to provide faster loading and more stable performance, with step-by-step guidance intended to make navigation easier for users across different age groups. The availability of biometric onboarding and multiple authentication options also gives customers greater flexibility while maintaining additional layers of account protection.

The launch of AL Habib Digital adds another major mobile banking platform to Pakistan’s increasingly competitive digital financial services market. Bank AL Habib’s new application places greater emphasis on personalization, digital payments and self-service banking while bringing several financial services together in a single interface. According to the app’s official listing, AL Habib Digital was updated in September 2026 and is available for customers seeking access to payments, cards, QR transfers and other banking services through mobile devices. With customers increasingly expecting banking services to be available instantly through smartphones, the redesigned platform reflects the broader shift toward mobile-first banking and digital financial service delivery in Pakistan.
