The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) hosted a Transition Training Program for Army officers as part of an initiative organized by the Fauji Foundation. The session introduced participants to SECP’s mandate, functions and regulatory responsibilities, with particular attention to Pakistan’s corporate and financial sectors.
The training provided Army officers with an overview of the regulatory framework governing the corporate sector and the wider financial ecosystem. The session was designed to help participants develop a better understanding of how regulatory institutions operate and how corporate and financial activities are governed in Pakistan.
The engagement is part of a transition-focused learning initiative aimed at supporting officers as they move toward opportunities in the corporate sector. By providing exposure to SECP’s regulatory role, the program helped participants understand key aspects of Pakistan’s corporate and financial environment.
The session also highlighted the broader role of financial regulation in maintaining an organised and well-governed corporate ecosystem. Understanding regulatory requirements can help professionals entering the corporate world better navigate institutional processes and responsibilities.
SECP’s participation in the training reflects its role in promoting awareness of Pakistan’s corporate and financial regulatory framework. The program provided a platform for participants to gain practical exposure to the country’s regulatory environment as they prepare for their transition into the corporate sector.
