FAST NUCES Islamabad Campus and its FAST Center of Executive Education (CoEE) have announced the successful completion of Module 3 of the Certified FinTech Practitioners (CFP) Program. The module, titled “Embracing EMIs, PSOs/PSPs, & Digital Banking,” focused on key developments shaping Pakistan’s evolving banking, payments and digital financial services ecosystem. The program forms part of FAST NUCES’ efforts to provide professional learning opportunities around emerging areas of financial technology.
Module 3 was delivered by Fawad Abdul Kader, Board Member of Raast Payments Pakistan and Founding CEO of Contrivus. During the session, participants received insights into the evolving banking and payments ecosystem, with discussions centered on Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), Payment System Operators (PSOs), Payment System Providers (PSPs) and digital banking. The module also explored the future direction of digital financial services and the changing role of technology within the financial sector.
The Certified FinTech Practitioners Program is designed to build knowledge around key areas of financial technology and provide participants with exposure to developments across banking and payments. The completion of the latest module represents another milestone in the ongoing CFP journey, with participants continuing to engage with industry perspectives and emerging trends relevant to Pakistan’s FinTech ecosystem.
