ABHI Microfinance Bank Announces November IPO Dates With 132 Million Shares And PKR 2.97 Billion Potential Issue Size

ABHI Microfinance Bank Limited has announced the schedule and price range for its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), marking a major development in the fintech group’s expansion into the listed banking sector. According to an announcement shared by ABHI, the offering will comprise 132 million shares, with a price band ranging from PKR 15 to PKR 22.50 per share. Based on this range, the total issue size is expected to fall between PKR 1.98 billion and PKR 2.97 billion, depending on the final price determined through the book-building process. The bank has scheduled registration for November 2–6, 2026, until 3:00 PM, while book building will take place on November 5 and 6. The retail subscription period is scheduled for November 12–13. The announcement places the bank’s public offering among the notable developments in Pakistan’s capital market and provides prospective investors with the initial dates and pricing information needed to follow the transaction.

The IPO will use a two-part allocation structure, with 75% of the shares allocated to the book-building portion and the remaining 25% reserved for retail investors. Out of the 132 million shares on offer, this represents 99 million shares for book building and 33 million shares for the retail portion. Under book building, eligible institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals submit bids within the announced price range. The bidding process helps determine the final strike price at which shares are offered, subject to the applicable offering rules. Retail investors will be able to subscribe during the separately scheduled public subscription period, with the final price and subscription instructions governed by the approved prospectus. The upper end of the announced price band is PKR 22.50, while the floor price is PKR 15. The final amount raised will therefore depend on the outcome of book building and the applicable allocation and subscription process. Investors should consult the final prospectus and official PSX notices for details about eligibility, application procedures, payment arrangements and the final offer price.

ABHI Microfinance Bank’s planned listing follows the fintech group’s acquisition and development of a regulated microfinance banking business in Pakistan. The bank operates within the country’s microfinance sector, while the wider ABHI business has developed financial services that include earned wage access, payroll-related financing and lending solutions for businesses. The proposed IPO gives public-market investors an opportunity to invest in the bank itself; it should not be interpreted as an offer of shares in every business or subsidiary associated with the wider ABHI group. Earlier reporting on the proposed transaction identified the 132 million-share offering and the bank’s application for listing on the PSX Main Board. The offering is therefore part of a process that has been progressing through the stock exchange’s public-offering framework. The latest dates and price band shared by ABHI provide an updated schedule for investors, while the final approved offering documents remain important for confirming the complete terms of the transaction.

The proposed listing also comes at a time when Pakistan’s capital market is attracting interest from companies seeking to raise funds through public offerings and broaden their investor base. For ABHI Microfinance Bank, the IPO represents an opportunity to bring its banking business to the stock market and increase public participation in its ownership. For investors, the offer provides an opportunity to assess the bank’s financial position, business model, lending portfolio, risks and growth prospects before making an investment decision. The announced price range alone does not establish whether the shares are appropriately valued, and participation in an IPO carries the possibility of financial loss as well as potential returns. Prospective applicants should review the approved prospectus, understand the distinction between the book-building and retail portions, and follow official instructions issued by the bank, PSX and relevant regulators. ABHI has announced registration from November 2 to 6, book building on November 5–6 and retail subscription on November 12–13, 2026. Further information and any subsequent changes should be checked through the Pakistan Stock Exchange and the bank’s official IPO communications.
