Allied Bank is expanding its digital banking infrastructure through the deployment of self-service kiosks developed by SEDCO, giving customers access to selected banking services without relying on traditional branch queues. The kiosks are designed to provide 24/7 access to essential banking operations, offering customers a faster and more convenient way to complete routine services.
Through the new self-service setup, customers can open Asaan Accounts, request card replacements and receive cards immediately at the kiosk. The deployment is aimed at reducing reliance on conventional counter-based services while allowing customers to complete key banking activities independently and at their convenience.
The initiative reflects the growing adoption of banking automation and self-service technology in Pakistan, as financial institutions seek to improve customer experiences while making banking services more accessible. By providing services beyond traditional branch operating hours, automated kiosks can also offer customers greater flexibility for routine banking requirements.
The deployment represents a wider shift towards technology-driven banking services, combining physical access points with digital processes. Allied Bank’s adoption of SEDCO kiosks is expected to support more streamlined customer interactions and provide an alternative to conventional branch-based processes across its network in Pakistan.
