This comprehensive publication is the first to systematically apply the World Bank’s Social Protection Delivery Chain Framework to trace the 15-year trajectory of #BISP since its inception.
Pakistan has demonstrated remarkable strides in digital delivery systems, particularly in recent years, underscored by the introduction of a dynamic social registry in 2023, which builds upon prior investments. This journey highlights the indispensable necessity for continuous investment in the development of social protection systems.
The report not only commemorates these accomplishments but also provides recommendations for future investments aimed at addressing remaining challenges.
