Meezan Bank & RCDP Partner to Expand Shariah-Compliant Finance in Rural Pakistan

Meezan Bank, a leading Islamic bank, and Rural Community Development Programmes (RCDP) joined forces to expand Shariah-compliant financial services in rural Pakistan. This collaboration aims to empower rural communities with access to financial tools that align with Islamic principles.

Meezan Bank’s Shariah Advisory Unit will provide comprehensive support to RCDP. This includes reviewing RCDP’s business structure to ensure compliance with Shariah principles, developing Shariah-compliant financial products for rural communities, and providing capacity building and training to RCDP staff. Additionally, Meezan Bank will offer ongoing Shariah consultancy to ensure RCDP maintains compliance throughout their operations.
