IAP Partner Awards 2026 Celebrates Insurance Innovation and Strategic Cross-Sector Collaborations

The Insurance Association of Pakistan alongside the Pakistan Society of Actuaries successfully organized the first IAP Partner Awards 2026 and International Insurance Conference, bringing together key financial sector leaders to highlight collaborative growth, technological innovation, and sustainable risk management strategies. Centered on the operational theme of building national resilience through inclusive insurance mechanisms, the landmark industry event recognized pivotal partnerships spanning telecommunications networks, digital banking platforms, microfinance institutions, and payment processing switches that continue to expand financial protection across underserved market segments nationwide.

During the honors ceremony, leading life insurer EFU Life celebrated the achievements of its strategic ecosystem partners who received formal recognition at the IAP Partner Awards 2026. Award recipients included JazzWorld, which secured the Best InsureTech distinction, alongside easypaisa digital bank, named the Best Digital Payment Platform. Additionally, United Bank Limited was honored as the Best Industry Banking Partner, while Kashf Foundation received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Micro Insurance. National payment switch 1LINK Private Limited was also recognized as the Best Embedded Insurance Provider, underscoring how cross-industry integration accelerates financial inclusion and protective coverage for millions of Pakistani households.

Parallel to the partner recognition ceremony, the conference convened prominent policy experts and corporate executives for high-level panel discussions, including a dedicated session on financing resilience against climate and catastrophe risks. Featuring Jubilee General Insurance Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Azfar Arshad alongside financial regulators, Asian Development Bank representatives, and institutional brokers, the panel analyzed strategic frameworks for mitigating escalating climate vulnerabilities. Key discussion points focused on strengthening public-private risk sharing, scaling catastrophe insurance penetration, and developing innovative micro-level financing mechanisms to safeguard vulnerable communities and businesses against severe environmental disruptions.

The joint initiative by the Insurance Association of Pakistan and the Pakistan Society of Actuaries establishes a synchronized platform to align traditional insurance operations with rapidly evolving digital ecosystems. Industry leaders emphasized that expanding national insurance penetration requires sustained collaboration between insurers, fintech platforms, government advisory bodies, and international developmental agencies. By combining embedded insurance models with digital payment networks and targeted climate-risk financing tools, the sector aims to enhance economic stability, protect national infrastructure, and accelerate long-term financial resilience across the country.
