Premier PayFast has joined the Pakistan Fintech Network (PFN), bringing the State Bank of Pakistan-licensed Payment Service Provider (PSP) and Merchant Service Provider (MSP) into the industry association’s growing fintech community. The company provides businesses across Pakistan with digital payment acceptance through cards, bank accounts, mobile wallets and Raast.
The partnership connects Premier PayFast with other stakeholders within Pakistan’s fintech ecosystem and creates opportunities for collaboration around digital financial services. As businesses increasingly adopt electronic payment methods, payment service providers such as Premier PayFast are playing a role in expanding the infrastructure available to merchants for accepting different forms of digital payments.
Premier PayFast’s services allow businesses to accept payments through multiple channels, including card-based transactions, direct bank account payments, mobile wallets and Raast. This multi-channel approach gives merchants greater flexibility in receiving digital payments while allowing customers to use payment methods they already have access to.
Pakistan Fintech Network welcomed Premier PayFast to its community and highlighted the company’s role in the country’s digital payments ecosystem. The network said the addition would support further collaboration and engagement across the broader fintech sector as digital payments continue to develop in Pakistan.
The move comes as Pakistan’s fintech ecosystem continues to expand, with payment service providers and merchant service providers becoming increasingly important to the adoption of digital transactions. Premier PayFast’s membership in PFN adds another licensed payments player to the network and provides an avenue for further industry collaboration.
