1LINK Partners with National Police Foundation and Faysal Bank to Expand Raast P2M Digital Billing Network

The digitization of institutional payments in Pakistan has achieved another significant milestone with the official onboarding of the National Police Foundation onto the 1GO Raast Person to Merchant payment ecosystem. Operating as a major payment system operator and switch, 1LINK finalized the integration framework to establish the National Police Foundation as an official bill aggregator. Under this newly deployed technical arrangement, Faysal Bank Limited will serve as the dedicated settlement bank, ensuring secure and seamless clearing of all financial transactions flowing through the digital network.

This collaborative integration leverages the advanced architecture of the state backed Raast instant payment gateway to introduce centralized efficiencies for public sector welfare collections. By entering the 1GO Raast P2M service layer, the National Police Foundation allows its various sub billers, institutional units, and affiliated projects to transition away from manual collection mechanisms. The system deployment focuses extensively on the use of static QR codes, giving consumers, police personnel, and related members a direct mechanism to scan and clear dues instantly from any bank application or digital wallet.

The inclusion of Faysal Bank Limited as the primary settlement institution adds a layer of commercial banking reliability to the high speed transaction rails provided by Raast. As transactions are initiated via localized static QR codes, the underlying settlement engine ensures real time verification and immediate capital routing, drastically reducing the traditional processing delays associated with conventional paper billing. This specific fintech alignment helps eradicate cash handling vulnerabilities, improves institutional ledger transparency, and aligns the foundation operations with the national digital transformation goals championing cashless payment workflows.

Fintech analysts note that embedding organizations like the National Police Foundation into interoperable payment systems creates an important precedent for other autonomous and public sector entities across Pakistan. The combination of 1LINK infrastructure, Raast processing speed, and established banking settlement networks lowers the entry barrier for administrative sub billers to adopt automated workflows. As static QR codes become ubiquitous across institutional payment points, the overall cost of collections falls significantly, ultimately delivering a friction free transactional experience to the end user.
