During the initial nine months of the 2019-20 financial year, the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications said that net foreign direct investment ( FDI) rose to US$ 491.3 million.
During the initial nine months of the financial year 2019-20 (July-March), the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) said that the total foreign direct investment ( FDI) in data and correspondence segments had risen to US$ 491.3 million.
According to the press release, due to its systematic developments that included arrangement mediations, MoITT ensured that the hop was seen.
The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication has made a range of moves under the leadership of the Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunications, including strategic mediations that have made a legitimate and roundabout contribution to the economy and national exchequer.
The service said that net FDI in the data and correspondence sections from July 2019 to March 2020 was US $491.3 million compared to the negative net FDI of US $113.7 million during the related duration of fiscal year 2019-20, referring to the State Bank of Pakistan survey.
With regard to its development and the telecom industry, the MoITT had assumed an essential job and adopted facilitative methodology towards it. To obtain target feedback for organising and strategy plans, it guided normal communication with the group. In addition, the IT department had good coordination with the open division partners for the advancement of Pakistan’s ICT region.
