Freelancer.com Enables Direct Withdrawals to Pakistani Bank Accounts

Freelancer.com, a leading platform for freelancers worldwide, has announced a significant update for its Pakistani users. Previously, Pakistani freelancers could only transfer funds from their online accounts to credit cards or online wallets like Skrill. However, the platform has now introduced External Withdrawals, enabling direct transfer of funds to local bank accounts without any local bank transfer charges.

Express Withdrawal, as described on the official website, is touted as the fastest and easiest method to transfer funds from Freelancer.com directly to users’ bank accounts. This feature is now available for Pakistani users, along with several other countries, allowing for withdrawals in local currencies.

Currently, Freelancer’s Express Withdrawals are accessible in countries such as Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, China, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Romania, the United States, and Vietnam. The platform plans to expand this service to more countries in the future.

Regarding processing times, Freelancer.com advises that withdrawals typically take 2-3 business days, depending on the speed of the user’s financial institution. Some institutions may take longer, with withdrawals in countries like Bangladesh requiring 3-5 business days for processing. Additionally, first-time withdrawals are subject to a 15-day delay before processing.

This update is expected to streamline the withdrawal process for Pakistani freelancers, providing them with greater convenience and efficiency in managing their earnings on the platform.
