FAST NUCES Completes FinTech Module Exploring Future Of Banking Payments And Digital Financial Services

FAST-NUCES Islamabad Campus and the FAST Center of Executive Education (CoEE) have announced the successful completion of Supplementary Module 5, titled “Transforming Investments with FinTech,” as part of the Certified FinTech Practitioners (CFP) Program. The module focused on the changing role of financial technology in investments and provided participants with insights into developments shaping the banking, payments and broader digital financial services ecosystem.

The session was delivered by Dr. Muhammad Bilal Saeed from the FAST School of Management, who shared insights into the evolution of banking and payment systems and the growing influence of technology on financial services. The module provided participants with an opportunity to examine how emerging FinTech developments are changing established financial processes and creating new approaches to digital banking and investment services.

The Certified FinTech Practitioners Program is designed to provide professionals and participants with specialised learning opportunities around financial technology and its applications across the financial sector. Module 5 adds an investment-focused perspective to the programme while connecting it with developments in banking, payments and digital financial services.

FAST-NUCES highlighted the active participation and engagement of attendees during the module, thanking the facilitator and participants for their contribution and commitment to continued professional learning. The completion of Supplementary Module 5 marks another milestone in the ongoing CFP journey, with participants set to progress toward the programme’s upcoming learning modules.

The programme also reflects the increasing role of executive education in developing practical FinTech knowledge as Pakistan’s financial sector continues to adopt digital banking, electronic payments and technology-driven financial services. Through initiatives such as the CFP Program, FAST-NUCES is providing participants with structured exposure to developments across the financial technology ecosystem and the skills required to understand its continued evolution.
