Easypaisa Digital Bank Completes Inaugural Women Leadership Programme With LUMS Executive Development Centre

easypaisa Digital Bank has announced the successful completion of the inaugural all-women cohort of Forward, its flagship leadership development programme launched in partnership with the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) at SDSB-LUMS. The programme is designed to support leadership development within the digital bank by providing participants with opportunities to build leadership capabilities, strengthen professional confidence and develop the mindset required to take on evolving workplace challenges.

The Forward programme focuses on developing leadership skills among easypaisa employees through structured learning and executive development. The inaugural cohort brought together women leaders and professionals from across the organisation, giving participants a platform to enhance their leadership presence, build confidence and explore opportunities for professional growth. The collaboration with REDC-LUMS adds an executive education component to the programme, connecting easypaisa’s internal leadership development efforts with an established business education institution.

According to easypaisa Digital Bank, participants highlighted the programme’s impact on their confidence, leadership presence and ability to identify new opportunities for growth. The bank positioned the completion of the first all-women cohort as part of its broader efforts to support inclusive leadership and increase opportunities for women within the organisation.

The initiative also reflects the growing focus among financial institutions on developing internal talent alongside investments in digital banking and financial technology. For digital banks operating in a rapidly changing environment, leadership development can play an important role in preparing teams to manage evolving customer expectations, technology adoption and organisational growth.

With the completion of its first cohort, Forward provides easypaisa Digital Bank with a structured platform for continued leadership development. The bank’s partnership with REDC-LUMS and its focus on an all-women cohort highlight an organisational approach that combines professional development with greater representation of women in leadership pathways.
