Meezan Bank and Lucky Cement Limited have partnered to enable Host-to-Host Integration and Virtual Account-based collections for Lucky Cement’s dealer network. The collaboration is aimed at improving visibility across the collections process while making reconciliation more seamless for the company. By connecting business systems directly with banking infrastructure, the initiative is expected to support more efficient management of dealer payments and collection information.
The integration will allow Lucky Cement to use Virtual Accounts for its dealer network, providing a structured approach to identifying and tracking incoming payments. Virtual Accounts can help businesses associate payments with specific customers or dealers, reducing manual intervention in the reconciliation process and providing clearer visibility into collection activity. The Host-to-Host setup further supports direct connectivity between the company’s systems and the bank for transaction-related processes.
The partnership brings together Meezan Bank’s transaction banking and cash management capabilities with Lucky Cement’s requirements for managing collections across its dealer ecosystem. The initiative is designed to simplify collection workflows and improve the flow of payment information, allowing the company to manage dealer receipts with greater accuracy and efficiency.
Senior leadership from both organisations attended the signing ceremony. Meezan Bank was represented by senior executives from its Wholesale Banking, Transaction & International Banking, Transaction Solutions and Corporate teams, while Lucky Cement representatives included its Executive Director and CFO, General Manager Finance and Head of Treasury & Insurance, along with members of their respective teams.
The collaboration highlights the growing use of digital banking infrastructure to modernise corporate cash management in Pakistan. Host-to-Host connectivity and Virtual Account solutions are increasingly being adopted to automate payment identification, improve reconciliation and provide businesses with better control over collection processes. For companies managing large dealer networks, such digital tools can help reduce manual processes while providing more timely and organised transaction visibility.
