Bank Alfalah Initiates Major Technology Upgrade for Enhanced Customer Experience

Bank Alfalah Limited, a prominent commercial bank in Pakistan, is set to undergo a comprehensive technology infrastructure overhaul. Though specific details about the revamp remain undisclosed, the initiative is expected to impact various banking services, including branches, ATMs, CDMs, CCDMs, Debit Card, Alfa App, Internet Banking, SMS Banking, WhatsApp, and selected call center services. The scheduled upgrades are slated to occur from 8 PM on January 19, 2024, to 8 AM on January 22, 2024.

During this period, all services linked to the bank will be temporarily unavailable. The extent of the impact suggests a significant overhaul, with potential enhancements to the overall customer experience after the deployment.

In a text message to its account holders, the bank stated, “Dear Customer, we are upgrading our technology infrastructure. Alfalah Branches, ATMs, CDMs, CCDMs, Debit Card, Alfa App, Internet Banking, SMS & WhatsApp Banking, Credit Card & Consumer loans payments will remain unavailable from 8 PM Jan 19, 2024, till 8 AM Jan 22, 2024.
