1LINK Onboards BISE Quetta on 1BILL for Digital Fee Payments

1LINK (Pvt) Limited has onboarded the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta on its 1BILL platform, enabling students to pay their fees and other applicable dues through multiple digital and over-the-counter payment channels. The integration is aimed at making fee payments more convenient for BISE Quetta students by providing access to 1BILL’s payment infrastructure. Through the new arrangement, students can make payments using mobile banking applications, internet banking services, ATMs and over-the-counter (OTC) channels available through 1LINK member banks.

The integration allows BISE Quetta students to access multiple payment options instead of relying on a single channel to settle their fees and applicable dues. The 1BILL service connects billers with a broad network of participating financial institutions, allowing customers to make payments through different banking channels. For BISE Quetta students, the availability of mobile and internet banking provides an option to complete payments digitally, while ATM and OTC channels offer alternatives for customers who prefer or require other payment methods.

According to the information shared by 1LINK, the BISE Quetta integration uses a specific invoice prefix of 101570 for payments. Students can use the applicable invoice information when making their payments through supported channels. The availability of a dedicated billing setup can help organize fee collections through the 1BILL infrastructure while giving students a standardized way to process their payments. The integration covers both digital banking channels and physical payment options, allowing students to select the method that best suits their requirements.

The move also highlights the continued expansion of digital payment infrastructure into Pakistan’s education sector. Educational institutions increasingly require payment systems that can handle student fees and other dues through secure and accessible channels, particularly as more consumers become accustomed to digital banking. By connecting BISE Quetta with 1BILL, 1LINK is extending its payment network to another education-related institution and providing students with access to payment facilities offered through participating banks. The combination of mobile banking, internet banking, ATMs and OTC channels gives students several options for completing their transactions.

The onboarding of BISE Quetta adds another institution to the growing network of organizations using digital payment infrastructure for fee collection and other financial transactions. Through 1BILL, students can access payment channels across 1LINK member banks while BISE Quetta can facilitate fee and dues collection through an established payment network. The development reflects the wider adoption of digital payment solutions in Pakistan and the increasing use of banking technology to simplify routine payments, including those related to education and student services.
