Taptap Send Launches Direct Charity Donation Feature for Overseas Pakistanis

Taptap Send, the international money transfer app widely recognized for its zero fees, competitive exchange rates, and instant delivery speeds, has introduced a new feature designed specifically to enable overseas Pakistanis to donate directly to local charities in Pakistan. This development aims to simplify and secure charitable giving for the Pakistani diaspora, enhancing transparency and impact for donations sent from abroad.

Since its founding in 2018, Taptap Send has become a trusted platform for overseas Pakistanis living in the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, and the UAE. It has earned a strong reputation for speed and reliability, with 95 percent of transfers delivered in under a minute. Building on this trust, the company’s latest feature allows users to send Zakat, Sadqah, or Qurbani contributions directly to registered nonprofit organizations across Pakistan, bypassing traditional channels that often relied on intermediaries or relatives to pass funds to charitable institutions.

This new capability addresses longstanding concerns around transparency and ease of use, especially during important religious periods such as Ramzan and Eid. Saim Chaudhary, who has overseen Taptap Send’s expansion into markets including Pakistan and Bangladesh, highlighted that the feature is much more than a simple technical upgrade. It reflects the company’s commitment to fostering trust within the Pakistani community and empowering charitable giving with greater convenience and security.

Through the app, users based in the USA, UK, and Europe can now access a curated list of pre-approved nonprofit partners working in critical sectors like education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation. Each organization has been carefully vetted to ensure legitimacy and measurable impact. This direct connection enables donors to make contributions confidently, knowing their funds are reaching credible institutions efficiently.

The timing of this rollout is particularly significant given the centrality of religious giving to Muslim life. Charitable acts such as Zakat and Qurbani carry profound spiritual importance, especially during Ramzan and Eid ul Adha. By allowing donations to be made instantly and securely through the app, Taptap Send is aligning its services with the values and expectations of its user base.

This new feature is a clear signal of Taptap Send’s broader mission: not only to connect families across borders with fast and affordable money transfers but also to enable generosity that transcends geographic barriers. By facilitating direct donations to Pakistani charities, the platform is strengthening community ties and supporting social impact in a meaningful and measurable way.

As Taptap Send continues to grow its presence in the international remittance market, innovations like this position the app as a leader in fintech solutions that go beyond basic financial services. By integrating charitable giving into its platform, Taptap Send is meeting the evolving needs of the Pakistani diaspora and contributing to the country’s social development through technology-driven empowerment.
