NIBAF Pakistan has successfully conducted Module 2 of its Islamic Banking Certificate Course (IBCC-79) at its Karachi Campus, providing specialised training for officers from commercial banks and the State Bank of Pakistan. The module was held from August 17 to August 22, 2026, and was delivered by a panel of expert trainers.
The programme focused on developing participants’ knowledge of Islamic banking principles and practices, with particular emphasis on the frameworks and requirements relevant to Shariah-compliant financial services. The participation of commercial banking and central bank officers highlights the importance of specialised Islamic finance expertise across Pakistan’s financial sector.
The training forms part of broader efforts to develop professional capabilities within Pakistan’s Islamic banking ecosystem. As Shariah-compliant banking continues to expand, specialised education and professional development are increasingly important for banking professionals responsible for delivering and regulating Islamic financial products and services.
NIBAF Pakistan said the programme reflects its continued focus on Islamic finance education and developing a skilled workforce for the country’s Shariah-compliant banking sector. The initiative also supports the broader development of expertise needed to facilitate the growth and effective operation of Islamic banking across Pakistan.
