JazzCash has crossed 62 million registered customers, marking a major milestone for Pakistan’s digital payments sector. The mobile financial services platform processed PKR 19.6 trillion in Gross Transaction Value during the 12 months ending June 2026, representing a 67.5% year-on-year increase. The growth highlights continued expansion in demand for digital payments, lending and financial disbursement services across the country.
The platform has also expanded its Raast QR-enabled network to 1.7 million merchants, increasing the reach of digital payment acceptance across businesses. The sharp rise in transaction value was supported by a 57.1% year-on-year increase in transaction volume, while the average number of transactions per user increased by 56.3% during the second quarter of 2026, indicating that existing customers are using JazzCash services more frequently.
The growing customer base and transaction activity reflect the increasing adoption of mobile financial services in Pakistan. JazzCash’s expanding merchant network is also supporting greater acceptance of QR-based payments, while its broader portfolio of payments, lending and disbursement services continues to increase the range of financial activities available through its platform.
JazzCash CEO Murtaza Ali said the rising customer base reflects growing trust in digital financial services, while continued investment in products and services is helping broaden access to financial tools. The company is also focusing on enabling customers to access investment opportunities, including government Treasury Bills, as it expands beyond traditional payments and lending services.
