Meezan Bank, Pakistan’s leading Islamic bank, has recently unveiled its Meezan Justuju program—a fully funded talent development initiative tailored for fresh graduates. In partnership with IBA-CEIF (Institute of Business Administration – Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance), the program’s inaugural screening, conducted through a written test at Meezan House, witnessed an overwhelming response, attracting participants from diverse academic backgrounds.
Meezan Justuju is a meticulously crafted two-month certificate course designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Islamic banking and finance. This initiative aims to address the increasing demand for skilled professionals within the industry. The program’s curriculum has been strategically developed to create a talent pool well-versed in Islamic finance, empowering them to pursue varied career paths within Islamic banks, Takaful companies, Mudarabah companies, Islamic asset management firms, and Islamic banking divisions or windows.
Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, the Group Head of Shariah Compliance at Meezan Bank, expressed his thoughts on the program, stating, “Meezan Justuju is a testament to our commitment to nurturing talent in Islamic finance. By equipping the youth with the necessary skills and knowledge, we aspire to bridge the current skill gap in the industry. This program serves as a stepping stone for fresh graduates to embark on promising careers and contribute to a more responsible and equitable financial system.”
