PSW and Soneri Bank Empower Women Entrepreneurs with Digital Finance and Export Training under SBP’s Women Financing Week 2025

Pakistan Single Window (PSW), in collaboration with Soneri Bank Limited, held an interactive Change Management session for women entrepreneurs as part of the State Bank of Pakistan’s Women Financing Week 2025. The session was designed to equip participants with practical insights on modern financial tools, digital banking solutions, and strategies to enhance access to finance while also introducing them to the opportunities available through the PSW digital trade platform.

The initiative aligns with the State Bank of Pakistan’s broader mission to promote gender-inclusive financial practices and empower women-led enterprises to play a greater role in the national economy. By connecting financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and women entrepreneurs, the event aimed to bridge the gap between traditional banking systems and the growing digital economy.

During the session, participants were guided through a comprehensive overview of how to navigate exporting processes using the PSW platform. The platform, which serves as a one-stop digital interface for trade and customs procedures, allows entrepreneurs to streamline export documentation and compliance, making it easier for women-led businesses to reach international markets. Experts from PSW and Soneri Bank shared step-by-step insights on using digital channels to manage payments, monitor transactions, and maintain financial records with greater efficiency.

The session also highlighted key initiatives that support women entrepreneurs in Pakistan’s business ecosystem, including the Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program and SMElevate. Both programs were recognized for their role in promoting women’s financial inclusion, offering targeted support to female-led enterprises through training, mentorship, and access to customized financial products. These initiatives have been instrumental in enabling women business owners to expand their operations, simplify trade processes, and strengthen their competitiveness in local and global markets.

Through interactive discussions and expert-led guidance, attendees explored actionable strategies for sustainable growth, innovation, and operational excellence. They were encouraged to leverage smart banking tools and digital technologies to improve business efficiency and financial management. The event also served as a valuable networking opportunity, allowing participants to connect, share experiences, and learn from other successful women entrepreneurs who have navigated similar challenges.

Soneri Bank officials reaffirmed their commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs through inclusive banking products and digital solutions that cater to the unique needs of small businesses. PSW representatives emphasized the importance of digital trade facilitation in helping women entrepreneurs expand globally and build resilient business models.

By combining the strengths of the financial and digital trade ecosystems, the PSW-Soneri Bank collaboration under Women Financing Week 2025 reflects a broader national effort to drive women’s economic empowerment through innovation, technology, and inclusive finance. As Pakistan’s digital transformation continues, such initiatives will play a vital role in equipping women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools, and financial access they need to thrive in an increasingly connected global economy.
