Shanaz Ramzi Empowers Women: Financial Training Success

Renowned PR expert Shanaz Ramzi took center stage at a LadiesFund entrepreneurial training held at the Buraq Center in Karachi. The event, organized by Dawood Global Foundation and sponsored by Bank Islami Mashal Women Banking with support from the State Bank of Pakistan, aimed to empower women with essential financial knowledge and entrepreneurial skills.

The training featured distinguished speakers, including Ayesha Ashraf Jangda, Head of Women Banking at Bank Islami, Faryal Aslam, Assistant Director of the Financial Inclusion Division at the State Bank of Pakistan, and a keynote address by Shahnaz Ramzi, CEO of Starlinks PR.

The financial speakers provided invaluable insights into financial education and literacy programs. Faryal Aslam shared comprehensive guidance on financial strategies and inclusive practices, drawing on her extensive experience in financial inclusion at the State Bank of Pakistan. Ayesha Jangda focused on Bank Islami’s offerings for women.

Shahnaz Ramzi, a globally recognized CEO and businesswoman, delivered a visionary talk titled “What Does a Woman Want? To Build and Grow Her Business.” Ramzi’s address emphasized entrepreneurship and customer service, offering tips on overcoming fears and challenges from idea to execution. She highlighted the role of excellence in achieving financial independence and success.

Ramzi, reflecting on her company’s rapid growth and numerous awards, emphasized the importance of customer satisfaction, stating, “For us, it has never been about just making money. Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance, and to achieve that, even if we have to go the extra mile, we always do.”

The training session witnessed enthusiastic participation from women eager to enhance their financial acumen and secure their economic futures. The event included interactive discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, fostering a collaborative environment for learning and growth.

Tara Uzra Dawood, President at Dawood Global Foundation, highlighted the significance of empowering women through financial education for societal progress and economic stability. She stated, “This training session marks a significant step toward ensuring that women have the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the financial landscape effectively.”

Ayesha Ashraf Jangda from Bank Islami emphasized the gender gap in financial inclusion in Pakistan and highlighted the Mashal Talks initiative, a financial education and literacy program aimed at bridging this gap. The collaboration between Dawood Global Foundation and Bank Islami Mashal Women Banking reflects their commitment to fostering financial inclusion and empowerment among women in Pakistan, bridging the gender gap in financial literacy, and enabling women to make informed financial decisions to contribute meaningfully to the economy.
