ABHI Microfinance Bank Offers 50% Discount at Bonanza Satrangi Through PayPak Card

ABHI Microfinance Bank has announced a limited-time promotional offer allowing customers to receive a 50% discount at Bonanza Satrangi when they pay using an ABHI PayPak Card through PayFast. The offer is available from September 18 to September 19, 2026, giving cardholders an opportunity to access discounts on purchases from the Pakistani fashion and lifestyle retailer. Under the promotion, customers can receive a discount of up to PKR 1,500 on eligible transactions. The campaign brings together ABHI Microfinance Bank, PayPak, PayFast, and Bonanza Satrangi, combining a payment card with a digital payment channel and a retail discount. The initiative provides ABHI customers with an additional incentive to use their PayPak cards for everyday purchases while highlighting the growing use of domestic payment networks and digital payment services in consumer transactions.

The promotion is centered on the ABHI PayPak Card, which customers can use through PayFast to complete eligible purchases at Bonanza Satrangi. PayPak is Pakistan’s domestic payment scheme, while PayFast provides a digital payment infrastructure that supports electronic transactions. By connecting the ABHI card with PayFast and a retail merchant, the campaign demonstrates how financial institutions and payment service providers can work with businesses to create customer-focused payment offers. Such partnerships can encourage consumers to use formal electronic payment methods for retail purchases instead of relying exclusively on cash. For cardholders, the promotional discount provides a direct financial benefit, while participating businesses and payment providers can use such campaigns to increase awareness and usage of their payment channels.

The offer provides a 50% discount with the maximum discount capped at PKR 1,500. It is available only during the specified promotional period of September 18 and 19, and redemptions are limited. Customers using an ABHI PayPak Card through PayFast can therefore take advantage of the offer while redemptions remain available. The promotion reflects a broader trend in Pakistan’s financial services market, where banks, payment networks, digital payment platforms, and retailers increasingly collaborate on merchant offers linked to card-based transactions. These arrangements can provide consumers with incentives to adopt electronic payments while giving merchants an additional channel for reaching customers through financial service partnerships.

The campaign also highlights the role of microfinance institutions in Pakistan’s evolving digital payments ecosystem. While microfinance banks traditionally focus on providing financial services to underserved segments, their offerings increasingly include digital and card-based payment solutions that allow customers to participate in the formal payments system. ABHI Microfinance Bank’s PayPak Card promotion with Bonanza Satrangi adds a retail use case to these services, giving customers an opportunity to use their payment cards for purchases while receiving a promotional discount. With the offer running for two days and limited redemptions available, customers will need to use the eligible payment method within the promotional period to qualify for the discount. The collaboration demonstrates how financial institutions, domestic payment networks, payment platforms, and retailers can combine their services to promote electronic transactions and expand the everyday use of digital payment channels.
