TDAP Launches E-Commerce Training To Support Minority Entrepreneurs With Digital Skills And Market Access

TDAP, in collaboration with Christian Business Fellowship Pakistan (CBFP), has launched an e-commerce training session aimed at supporting minority entrepreneurs in Pakistan. The inaugural session was held at Cathedral Church in Lahore as part of activities marking Pakistan’s Independence celebrations, bringing together representatives from government, business, diplomatic missions and the technology sector.

The training initiative is focused on equipping minority entrepreneurs with modern e-commerce skills and digital tools that can help them develop and expand their businesses. The programme is designed to provide participants with knowledge that can support their transition into the digital economy while creating opportunities to reach customers beyond traditional physical markets.

The session also highlighted the potential of e-commerce to provide entrepreneurs with access to wider domestic and international markets. By developing digital business capabilities, participating entrepreneurs can explore new commercial opportunities, expand their customer base and potentially contribute to Pakistan’s export activity.

The event brought together senior representatives including officials from TDAP, the Punjab government, FPCCI, CBFP, Lahore Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as representatives from the British High Commission, United States and Chinese diplomatic missions. Their participation reflected the broader focus on connecting entrepreneurship, technology and economic opportunities.

The initiative positions digital commerce as an avenue for more inclusive participation in Pakistan’s economy. By providing minority entrepreneurs with e-commerce knowledge and access to digital tools, the training seeks to help businesses grow, create employment opportunities and participate more actively in domestic and international markets.
