1LINK Sponsors Pakistan Logistics and Shipping Summit 2026 Trade Discussions

1LINK sponsored the Pakistan Logistics & Shipping Summit 2026 (PLSS 2026), organized by Smart Entrepreneur Society (SES) and held at the Islamabad Marriott Hotel. The summit brought together stakeholders from the finance, policy and industry sectors to discuss developments affecting Pakistan’s trade and logistics ecosystem. As a sponsor, 1LINK contributed to discussions focused on the future of trade financing and the measures required to support investment, improve the business environment and facilitate the continued development of Pakistan’s trade and logistics sectors.

As part of the event, Mr. Suleman Hasan, Chief Corporate Affairs & Company Secretary at 1LINK, moderated a panel discussion titled “Financing Pakistan’s Trade Future.” The session brought together experts from finance, policy and industry to examine the factors that can contribute to the transformation of Pakistan’s trade and logistics ecosystem. The discussion focused on the role of investment, policy certainty and institutional collaboration in supporting businesses and creating the conditions required for greater activity across trade and logistics.

The panel also examined the importance of financing in supporting Pakistan’s future trade activities. Access to sustainable financing can play a role in enabling businesses to expand operations, invest in infrastructure and participate more effectively in domestic and international trade. At the same time, policy certainty can help businesses and investors make longer-term decisions, while collaboration between government institutions, financial organizations and industry stakeholders can contribute to coordinated development across the trade and logistics sectors.

Concluding the discussion, Suleman Hasan emphasized that Pakistan can attract greater investment and transform its trade and logistics ecosystem by improving investor confidence, advancing policy reforms, enabling sustainable financing and taking practical steps to turn strategic goals into implementation. His remarks placed emphasis on moving from long-term plans toward practical execution, with investment and policy measures working alongside institutional cooperation to support the country’s trade ambitions.

The participation of 1LINK at PLSS 2026 reflects the company’s involvement in discussions concerning financial services, trade financing and the broader business ecosystem. The summit provided an opportunity for stakeholders to examine the challenges and opportunities surrounding Pakistan’s logistics and shipping sectors while considering how financing, investment and policy can support future growth. Discussions such as these remain relevant as Pakistan seeks to develop its trade infrastructure and create stronger connections between financial institutions, businesses, policymakers and the logistics industry.
