Zindigi Introduces Paylink to Empower Freelancers with Seamless International Payments

Zindigi, the digital banking platform powered by JS Bank, has launched “Paylink,” a new feature designed to address one of the biggest challenges faced by Pakistan’s freelance economy: receiving timely and secure international payments. The move reflects Zindigi’s continued focus on financial inclusion and its mission to deliver digital-first solutions tailored to the country’s fast-evolving workforce.

Pakistan is home to more than 1.5 million freelancers who collectively contribute nearly $400 million annually in export revenue. Despite this significant contribution to the economy, freelancers have long struggled with delays, inefficiencies, and a lack of professional payment channels when receiving funds from international clients. Paylink directly addresses these pain points by offering a streamlined, secure, and globally compatible solution.

Through the Zindigi app, freelancers can now generate customized payment links and share them directly with clients worldwide. Payments can be made easily through Visa or Mastercard, and freelancers receive the funds in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), ensuring seamless cross-border compatibility with the convenience of local settlement. The feature also allows freelancers to create professional invoices within the same app, offering an integrated platform for both payment requests and invoicing management.

Faisal Khalid, Chief Product Officer at Zindigi, emphasized the platform’s commitment to building customer-focused solutions. “At Zindigi, user experience is at the core of everything we do. As we strive to support Pakistan’s rapidly growing freelance economy, Paylink is a testament to this commitment, offering freelancers a fast, secure, and seamless way to receive payments from clients worldwide,” he said.

The launch of Paylink is a major milestone for Pakistan’s freelance sector, providing much-needed reliability and professionalism in how freelancers interact with global clients. By bridging the gap between international payment systems and local financial infrastructure, Zindigi is enabling freelancers to operate with greater confidence, efficiency, and transparency.

This feature is currently available for all Ultra Freelancer Account holders, further enhancing the suite of services designed specifically for independent professionals and digital entrepreneurs. Beyond just payments, Paylink’s invoicing and request management tools give freelancers a unified platform that simplifies financial workflows and reduces dependency on fragmented third-party solutions.

With the freelance industry growing at a rapid pace, solutions like Paylink play a pivotal role in unlocking economic potential and ensuring Pakistan remains competitive in the global digital economy. Zindigi’s focus on empowering freelancers not only contributes to the sector’s growth but also supports the broader agenda of financial inclusion and digital transformation across the country.

As more professionals turn to freelancing as a primary source of income, the demand for secure and efficient payment channels will only continue to rise. With Paylink, Zindigi positions itself at the forefront of this movement, redefining how freelancers in Pakistan manage their global payments.
