Tasdeeq Information Services Limited Prepares Initial Public Offering to Expand Credit Information Network in Pakistan

Tasdeeq Information Services Limited is preparing to execute its Initial Public Offering following the formal publication of its comprehensive prospectus. The company aims to mobilize approximately PKR 285 million in capital through the issuance of 150,000,000 ordinary shares. This public offering represents a landmark development within the regional financial architecture, positioning Tasdeeq as the very first credit bureau to achieve a public listing across South Asia. The strategic move is designed to strengthen financial infrastructure, widen institutional access, and support the broader modernization of credit risk assessment throughout Pakistan.

As Pakistan’s first private credit bureau licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan, Tasdeeq operates as one of only two licensed credit bureaus in the entire national jurisdiction. This specialized position provides the company with a statutory and structurally protected revenue framework, underpinned by high regulatory barriers to entry that safeguard its market presence. The bureau has cultivated an extensive network that includes 174 participating member institutions ranging from commercial banks and microfinance institutions to non-banking financial companies. Underpinning this ecosystem is a vast proprietary database containing records of more than 41.5 million unique borrowers, offering unprecedented visibility into credit profiles and repayment behaviors.

The financial layout for the public issue outlines a structured pricing band designed to facilitate institutional and retail participation. The offering establishes a floor price of PKR 1.90 per share, alongside a pre-IPO placement price of PKR 2.35 per share, and an upper cap price set at PKR 3.00 per share. Moreover, the business model and security structure conform strictly to Islamic financial principles, making the instrument fully Shariah compliant. This compliance opens participation opportunities to a broad demographic of ethical and Islamic investors seeking exposure to high-growth financial technology and data infrastructure ventures.

The timeline for the offering follows a multi-stage schedule designed to ensure orderly market participation. Registration for eligible participants desiring to join the book building process opens on July 31, 2026, and continues through August 6, 2026. The book building phase itself takes place across two dedicated business days on August 5, 2026, and August 6, 2026, running daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Following the determination of the strike price through book building, the general public subscription phase will open on August 11, 2026, and run through August 12, 2026. Topline Securities Limited is acting as the Lead Manager and Consultant to the Issue, guiding the transaction through regulatory channels and market operations.

Industry analysts view the public listing of Tasdeeq as a pivotal moment for digital transformation and data-driven risk management in Pakistan. By converting credit histories and financial data into actionable analytics, credit bureaus empower lending institutions to reduce non-performing loans, streamline underwriting workflows, and extend credit facilities to underserved consumer segments. The influx of fresh capital from this transaction will allow Tasdeeq to upgrade its technical capacity, integrate advanced analytical solutions, and further expand its borrower database, ultimately driving smarter, safer, and more inclusive lending across the entire national economy.

With digital transformation accelerating across the banking, microfinance, and fintech sectors, reliable credit reporting mechanisms serve as the fundamental backbone for sustainable economic growth. Tasdeeq’s upcoming public listing underscores the rising value of centralized financial intelligence and robust data repositories in modern capital markets. As institutional and retail investors prepare for the book building and public subscription periods, the landmark transaction is poised to set new benchmarks for tech-enabled financial services and capital market participation across South Asia.
