Swich Onboards FinSurgents to Simplify Business Invoicing Through Digital Payment Infrastructure

Swich has onboarded FinSurgents to its platform as part of an initiative aimed at simplifying business invoicing and payment processes. The partnership was announced by Swich through a LinkedIn post, with the company describing FinSurgents’ onboarding as another step toward making business payments easier to manage. FinSurgents separately confirmed the onboarding and said it was pleased to begin working with the Swich team. While the companies did not disclose specific commercial terms or the detailed scope of the arrangement, the announcement points toward greater use of digital infrastructure for business invoicing and financial operations. Swich operates as a financial operating system for merchants in emerging markets, providing a single integration for accepting payments, processing payouts, supporting cross-border transfers and accessing embedded finance and lending services. Its payment infrastructure includes multiple collection and payout channels, giving businesses a centralized way to connect financial transactions with their operations.

FinSurgents brings an embedded-finance and fintech-consulting focus to the collaboration. The company describes its services as covering digital banking solutions, embedded lending, payment infrastructure and Open Banking enablement, alongside fintech strategy, regulatory compliance and risk-management support. Its work is aimed at helping businesses and financial institutions integrate financial services into their existing models. The company has operations in both Singapore and Pakistan and lists payments and digital transactions among its areas of specialization. The onboarding therefore connects Swich’s payment infrastructure with a company whose work involves financial technology and embedded financial solutions. For businesses, digital invoicing can serve as an important link between billing, collections and payment processing, particularly when companies are handling multiple customers and transaction channels. A platform that brings these functions closer together can reduce the need to manage separate systems for different parts of the payment cycle.

Swich’s wider platform is designed around this type of business payment integration. Its payment APIs support customer collections through cards, e-wallets, bank channels, QR and real-time payment options, while its payout infrastructure supports local bank transfers and international remittances. The platform also provides bill-out capabilities for services including utility payments and mobile-related transactions. Swich says that more than 15,000 businesses currently run on its infrastructure. In recent months, the company has also announced additional business onboardings for its payout solutions and reported completion of the first cohort of the State Bank of Pakistan’s Regulatory Sandbox under the Open Banking theme. These developments indicate that Swich is expanding beyond a conventional payment gateway model toward a broader financial infrastructure layer for merchants and businesses. Its latest onboarding of FinSurgents adds another business-services relationship to that ecosystem, although the companies have not publicly disclosed whether the arrangement will involve a specific invoicing product, integration, or additional financial services.

The development comes as businesses in Pakistan and other emerging markets increasingly rely on digital tools to manage collections, payments, payouts and financial administration. Invoicing is an important part of this transition because it connects a company’s sales activity with its payment and accounting processes. Digital infrastructure can allow businesses to issue invoices, track payment status and connect collections with broader financial workflows, although the exact features available depend on the platforms and integrations being used. For Swich, the FinSurgents onboarding adds another company to its growing business ecosystem and supports its broader focus on providing merchants with integrated financial infrastructure. For FinSurgents, the relationship provides an additional connection to a payment platform serving businesses across emerging markets. As digital payments, embedded finance and Open Banking continue to develop in Pakistan, partnerships between payment infrastructure providers and fintech-focused companies could create more integrated options for businesses seeking to digitize routine financial operations.
