Pakistan: BoK, 1LINK & Kuickpay Team Up to Simplify Online Billers Onboarding

Bank of Khyber (BoK), 1LINK (Pvt) Limited, and kuickpay have joined forces to simplify the process of bringing online billers onto the digital payments network. This tripartite agreement aims to boost efficiency and accelerate business enrolment.

Previously, online billers needed individual agreements and extensive documentation for onboarding through 1LINK via kuickpay. The new streamlined process allows BoK to authorize onboarding on behalf of approved billers, eliminating the need for repetitive paperwork and compliance checks.

“This partnership is a major step forward in improving the digital banking experience for our clients,” said Jawad Hassan Khan, BoK’s Divisional Head of Alternate Delivery Channels. “By simplifying onboarding, we’re not only boosting efficiency but also supporting the growth of digital transactions in Pakistan.”

Bashir Khan, COO of 1LINK, emphasized the collaborative effort: “This collaboration demonstrates our commitment to facilitating seamless and secure online billing solutions. We believe this initiative will significantly benefit our customers.”

Wajahat Farooq, Regional Business Head for the North Region at kuickpay, echoed the positive impact: “This agreement reflects our dedication to innovation and efficiency in digital finance. We look forward to working with BoK and 1LINK to bring more streamlined solutions to the market.”

The streamlined onboarding is expected to significantly benefit online billers and contribute to a more robust digital financial ecosystem in Pakistan.
