Pakistan is going through an unprecedented difficult time. The novel coronavirus has wreaked havoc, resulting in the country having to resort to a lockdown to curb the spread of the virus. The lockdown has disproportionally impacted the daily wage earner and small business owners that are dependent on a steady income to make ends meet.
In these trying times, Kashf Foundation is once again at the forefront to protect the marginalized community in the country. Not only is it the first Microfinance Institution to reschedule loan payments of its clients but has also launched a ration program to provide relief to its clients from low-income households. The Relief program will cater to the immediate needs of:
• Women headed households
• Households falling below the poverty score of 30
• Households with vulnerable income
