Jubilee Life Insurance Company Limited, through its Window Takaful Operations, has entered into a strategic digital collaboration with Oladoc, allowing users of the healthcare platform to access a range of Jubilee Life’s voluntary, annually renewable Term Takaful solutions. The partnership places Takaful protection inside a digital healthcare journey, reaching consumers at the point where health needs and financial protection needs naturally meet.
Through the arrangement, Oladoc users will be able to view and access five Takaful plans offered by Jubilee Life: the Jubilee Hospitalization Cash Reimbursement Takaful Plan, the Jubilee Personal Accident Takaful Plan, the Jubilee Income Protection Takaful Plan, the Jubilee Health Takaful Plan, and the Cancer Cover Takaful Plan. Together, the plans are designed to address healthcare expenses, personal accidents, income continuity, and critical health risks, covering a spread of situations that commonly create financial pressure for households when a medical or accident-related event occurs.
Sohail Fakhar, Executive Director for Sales and Marketing at Jubilee Life Insurance, said the company’s focus is on making protection simpler and easier to access, and that digital partnerships play an important part in that effort. He noted that working with platforms such as Oladoc allows Jubilee Life to reach consumers through channels that already form part of their daily lives, bringing relevant Takaful protection closer to them. Syed Ali Raza Sherazi, Head of Commercials at Oladoc, said the platform’s aim has been to build a wider healthcare ecosystem for its users, and that access to relevant financial protection complements the digital healthcare services its audience already relies on, helping bring healthcare access and financial protection closer together through a familiar digital platform.
The collaboration reflects a broader shift in Pakistan’s insurance sector toward embedding products within digital platforms that customers already use, rather than depending only on agents or branch visits to sell policies. For Jubilee Life, the tie-up with Oladoc gives its Takaful range exposure to digitally connected consumers who may not have considered Shariah-compliant protection plans until they were browsing healthcare services online. For Oladoc, it adds a financial protection layer to its existing digital healthcare offering. Both companies described the partnership as another step toward making health and financial protection more accessible, convenient, and digitally enabled for consumers across Pakistan.
