Digitt+ and Concave Agri Partner to Digitize Payments for Pakistani Farmers

Pakistan’s agricultural sector is set to undergo a digital transformation as Digitt+ joins forces with Concave Agri, a leading agritech company backed by The Lakson Group, to modernize financial transactions for farmers. The partnership aims to make payments seamless, cashless, and hassle-free, empowering farmers with greater financial inclusion and security.

The Lakson Group, a prominent business conglomerate with assets worth $1.05 billion, serves over 50 cities and employs 17,000 people. By leveraging its extensive reach and industry expertise, the group is playing a key role in integrating technology-driven solutions into the agricultural sector. Digitt+, a growing fintech player, will provide digital payment solutions to streamline farming operations, ensuring that farmers can conduct transactions safely and efficiently.

Under this partnership, farmers will be able to make digital payments using Digitt+ at select Concave Agri retail outlets across the country. This move eliminates the risks associated with cash handling, providing farmers with greater financial security and reducing the chances of theft or fraud. Additionally, Concave Agri’s high-quality agricultural inputs, including seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, will be available on Digitt+’s virtual shop, Agrimall. This online marketplace will allow farmers to purchase trusted products at government-set prices, ensuring affordability and accessibility.

One of the most significant advantages of this digital shift is the creation of financial histories for farmers. With records of their digital transactions, farmers can unlock new opportunities for credit and financing, which are often difficult to secure in a cash-based economy. This initiative not only enhances transparency but also strengthens efficiency within the agricultural supply chain, benefiting both farmers and suppliers.

Speaking about the partnership, Digitt+ CEO Ahmed Saleemi highlighted the broader impact of this initiative, stating, “This partnership is about more than just digital payments—it’s about financial empowerment for farmers, ensuring they have the right tools for growth.”

Concave Agri President Muhammad Ali Iqbal echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of making financial transactions easier for farmers. “Farmers deserve easy access to quality inputs and secure transactions. With Digitt+, we’re simplifying the way they do business, helping them focus on what matters—growing better crops.”

As Pakistan’s agricultural sector embraces digital transformation, this collaboration marks a crucial step towards increasing efficiency and productivity in farming. By reducing dependency on cash and integrating technology into everyday transactions, Digitt+ and Concave Agri are paving the way for a smarter, more financially inclusive future for farmers.
