Daraz Express Unveils Nationwide Last-Mile Delivery Network for Non-Platform Sellers to Accelerate E-Commerce Growth in Pakistan

Daraz, South Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, has officially launched a dedicated last-mile delivery solution under its logistics arm, Daraz Express (DEX), aimed at empowering brands and merchants operating outside the Daraz marketplace. This expansion marks a strategic move to extend Daraz’s logistics capabilities to the wider retail and e-commerce ecosystem of Pakistan, enabling non-platform sellers to access a fast, automated, and technology-driven delivery network previously exclusive to Daraz-based merchants.

Established in 2018, Daraz Express has emerged as one of Pakistan’s most advanced logistics infrastructures, designed to support high-volume e-commerce fulfilment with precision, speed, and transparency. With this rollout, independent retailers, direct-to-consumer brands, and growing online businesses can leverage DEX’s infrastructure to streamline deliveries, optimise order fulfilment, and scale operations without needing to sell on the Daraz marketplace.

At the core of the solution is Pakistan’s first Smart Distribution Center, supported by the country’s only commercial auto-sorting systems capable of processing more than 10,000 parcels per hour and scalable to nearly one million parcels per day. DEX’s technology stack includes automated sorting, AI-based route optimisation, predictive analytics, and real-time shipment visibility, ensuring rapid, accurate, and trackable deliveries nationwide. This smart logistics framework addresses a longstanding industry gap by giving external sellers access to enterprise-level fulfilment technology that supports reliable growth.

As part of this infrastructure expansion, DEX has integrated with leading commerce platforms such as Ginkgo, Unity Retail, and Trade Unleashed, enabling seamless fulfilment for retailers across various digital storefronts and ERP systems. The service is already supporting established retail and fashion brands including Alkaram, MTJ, LOGO, ECS, NDURE, Edenrobe, Jenpharm, Beechtree, Nishat, Stylo, and Sapphire, demonstrating strong commercial uptake across the country’s apparel and lifestyle market.

DEX deployments currently span over 100 major Pakistani cities, providing same-city deliveries within 24 hours and inter-provincial shipments within 72 hours. With delivery success rates exceeding 90 percent, the solution aims to enhance customer satisfaction while enabling merchants to improve delivery performance metrics critical for scaling online retail operations. The network’s data-driven optimisation capabilities continue to support efficient logistics flows, helping sellers reduce delivery time and operational overhead.

To further support merchant cash flow and working capital management, DEX offers multiple weekly Cash-on-Delivery settlement cycles with real-time payout dashboards. This mechanism ensures sellers can reinvest funds promptly and maintain operational liquidity, a key differentiator in Pakistan’s COD-heavy retail market.

Ahmed Tanveer, Chief Logistics Officer at Daraz Group, stated that DEX’s expansion into third-party fulfilment marks a new chapter for Pakistan’s e-commerce logistics landscape. He emphasised that DEX is committed to simplifying logistics, enabling faster delivery service levels, and building an ecosystem designed to support both large-scale online retailers and emerging digital-first brands.

Industry feedback indicates visible improvement in fulfilment quality for brands adopting DEX. BeechTree, a leading apparel brand, reported that the solution accelerated delivery speeds and enhanced customer logistics transparency, allowing the brand to scale more confidently. With its extensive distribution footprint and growing automation capabilities, DEX aims to enable merchants to reach broader markets and strengthen end-to-end e-commerce execution.

The launch underscores Daraz’s ongoing mission to expand digital commerce participation in Pakistan, lower operational barriers for businesses, and boost efficiency in last-mile fulfilment. By opening its logistics network to non-platform sellers, Daraz Express seeks to catalyse nationwide e-commerce growth and support merchants in building resilient, technology-enabled delivery operations across the country.
