Pakistan Pavilion to showcase at Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 with government-backed subsidy

Pakistan is gearing up to make its presence felt at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious gatherings of financial technology innovators. The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), has announced that five local IT and ITeS companies working in fintech sub-domains will be selected to exhibit at the global event scheduled for November 12–14, 2025, at the Singapore EXPO.

The initiative is designed to promote Pakistani fintech expertise on an international stage and foster new opportunities for local companies in global markets. By offering a subsidized participation package, the government is making it possible for emerging and established players alike to connect with potential investors, partners, and clients from around the world.

The cost of participation for selected companies has been set at PKR 570,000 after a 60 percent subsidy offered by the authorities. This move reflects the government’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s IT exports and its rapidly expanding fintech ecosystem. Both PSEB and TDAP have emphasized that this is a unique chance for local firms to demonstrate their products and services to a highly influential audience.

The Singapore FinTech Festival has grown into the leading global platform for showcasing innovations in payments, digital banking, blockchain, artificial intelligence, insurance technology, and regulatory technology. The 2025 edition is expected to attract thousands of participants, including industry leaders, policymakers, venture capitalists, and technology providers from across the globe. For Pakistan, the event provides not only visibility but also a chance to position itself as a competitive player in the global digital economy.

Over the past few years, Pakistan’s fintech sector has seen remarkable growth. Startups offering mobile wallets, payment gateways, lending platforms, and blockchain-based services have transformed the financial landscape, offering more accessible and inclusive solutions for individuals and businesses. Participation in events like the Singapore FinTech Festival gives these firms the exposure and networking opportunities needed to scale beyond domestic markets.

Industry experts believe that international exhibitions are essential for building global recognition of Pakistan’s fintech capabilities. By facilitating these opportunities, organizations like PSEB and TDAP are directly contributing to export growth and foreign investment inflows in the digital economy.

Applications for participation in the Pakistan Pavilion are currently open, with a deadline of Saturday, August 30, 2025. Interested companies can apply online through the official TDAP portal at https://tdap.gov.pk/mis/. Selection will focus on firms operating in key fintech domains that demonstrate innovation, scalability, and export potential.

The initiative is part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to boost IT and IT-enabled services exports, which are increasingly viewed as one of the country’s most promising growth sectors. As fintech continues to reshape the global financial ecosystem, Pakistan’s participation in Singapore provides a timely opportunity to highlight its innovations and attract new business opportunities.
