JazzCash Partners with BISP to Empower Underserved Communities

JazzCash, Pakistan’s leading fintech organization, has been selected as one of the esteemed financial institutions to partner with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in disbursing funds aimed at empowering underserved communities, with a special focus on women’s inclusion.

Through this partnership, JazzCash will utilize its extensive nationwide network of agents and retailers to disburse funds to over 1.3 million beneficiaries across Pakistan. The initiative aims to ensure timely disbursements, particularly targeting districts in Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz, expressed, “Collaborating with BISP, we are dedicated to uplifting the economic well-being of Pakistani women. By leveraging JazzCash’s network, we aim to provide accessible digital financial services, contributing to the financial empowerment of BISP’s beneficiaries.”

At the signing ceremony, Murtaza Ali, Head of JazzCash, emphasized the shared vision of JazzCash and BISP to use financial inclusion as a tool for social upliftment, breaking barriers, and providing equal opportunities for all.

BISP extends financial assistance to over 9 million women, offering cash assistance of Rs. 10,500 per quarter for a period of 3 years. Under the 3-year partnership, JazzCash will facilitate cash withdrawals through biometrically enabled services.

This collaboration underscores JazzCash’s commitment to advancing financial inclusion, empowering women, and fostering socio-economic development in Pakistan. With its extensive agent network and innovative technology, JazzCash continues to revolutionize the financial landscape.
