1LINK has announced an opening for the position of AM/Associate – Asset & Version Management within its Digital & Tech Solutions department in Karachi. The company is seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, along with four to six years of relevant experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing IT asset inventories covering hardware, software, licenses, configurations, ownership details and related records. The role will also involve tracking software versions, patches, upgrades and configuration changes to ensure systems remain on approved and up-to-date versions.
According to the job posting, the position will coordinate with infrastructure, application, information security and vendor teams on asset lifecycle management, version control and configuration-related activities. The candidate will also monitor compliance with asset management policies and maintain records related to system upgrades, version releases and configuration updates.
